What we take down

  • Pergolas
  • Fireplace mantels and surrounds
  • All the rubbish, carted away

What stays: Whatever isn't on the list. On the jobs pictured, the fireplace and hearth tiles stayed intact, and the fence, paving and garden bed stayed as they were.
